Spring is here, and things are still happening in the adult industry. It seems like the war on porn has toned down. We noticed that the war on porn is waged mainly in the winter, and it probably has something to do with the Christmas spirit that makes Christian organizations active in the war against porn. But we see a spring that brings a lot more responsibility among big porn producers. Let’s see the most noteworthy news in the adult industry for march 2023.
Kink.Com Solves On-Set Incident
Kink.com is the most hardcore BDSM network on the internet. It’s also the only big network of such content. And that’s because filming such extreme content is dangerous. Many things can happen. The worst came on the Kink.com sets last month when female performer Alexis Tae accused one of the producers of the site that she was mistreated during a shooting. The director and other performers ignored her calls of distress. Her safeword was ignored while she was suspended in a bondage act. That’s a big misconduct in BDSM. The executive board of Kink.com has reviewed the footage and investigated to settle the incident. After the investigation, the head producer of the network, John Paul “The Pope” was released from his position. And the entire production team went under review and HR evaluation.
MindGeek Moves Forward With Efforts Of Ethical Compliance
MindGeek, the mega-corporation that owns PornHub and many other big adult brands, is moving forward with cleaning its act and name. They want to be the first big company to comply with all the rules and regulations of privacy and ethic. After removing all the non-consensual and non-copyrighted content from PornHub and all the other video streaming platforms in their holding, now they move forward with transparency and foregrounding practices. At the same time, that means content creators will be consulted and evaluated before being given access to the platform. It’s a step forward in making sure that all sex workers know everything about the business in which they want to activate.
Two Cam Performers Arrested In Indonesia
South East Asia is waging a continuous war on porn. After an incident in which Chinese nationals were arrested for running a small production studio in Thailand a couple of months back, now it’s Indonesia who moves to crush freedom of creation. Indonesian police arrested two women for streaming adult cam shows from the privacy of their homes. Not only that, but they were also publicly shamed. The other eight models are on the run. Anti-porn activists from the USA are welcoming such precedent because they want to import such legislature into the States.
