MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing games) area role-playing online games that include extremely large numbers of players who interact with each other in a virtual world.

They have an insanely huge fanbase that is said to have reached over 100 million players by 2014.
This doesn’t mean all active players but registered accounts, active numbers playing is well over 10 million though.
In 2017, WoW is said to have made over $9 billion in revenue which is one of the highest returns on a game ever.
WoW is one of the oldest online games and continues to retain its players throughout the years.
The newest version of WoW takes place in the Warcraft fantasy world.
It’s the Warcraft world of Azeroth.
This is the fourth release in the WoW series and this one takes place 4 years after the events that happened in the last Warcraft release called Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
There are expansion packs available and the gaming never ends for all those who are online with it.
You can begin to play WoW with a free trial up to level 20 and then buy-in if you like it.
When you start, you have to make some tough decisions.
You pick a server, character, race and class.
The server you pick should be healthy and have a medium to the high population during times that you would normally be online playing and then our character, race and class also have to be chosen.
Always choose things that interest you as it will help you enjoy the game more.
As your character plays more, you will gain more skills and talent as your progress through the game.
You go on quests to attain new rewards such as new skills.
You can go on these quests by yourself or join a group of other players so you can take on more challenging quests and tests.
Your character can die in WoW but then become resurrected as well.
You may need equipment repairs or be healed.
There may be times when you are playing player vs player with opposing factions and other times that it is player vs the environment.
There are even some areas in certain realms that allow freedom for all fighting.
WoW has battlegrounds that offer objectives to attain along with offering rewards such as tokens of points that will allow the character to buy things to help in their game.
The variables of the game are extensive, and you will never get bored.
Along with playing the game WoW, there are many other forums in which players can participate.
There is a virtual community.
They share fan artwork, comic strips, storytelling and more.
Guilds become more than simply an online gaming group.
People begin to find that they build an online community that they find each time they arrive back in the WoW fantasy world.
It becomes almost an alternate reality that people can escape to and create a social circle that is very different then what they might experience in their everyday lives.
Fortnight
Don’t confuse this game with Fortnight.
If you aren’t a gamer, then you may not understand they are two different online games.
Fortnite is an online game that was created by Epic games in 2017.
It has three gameplays: Save the World is for up to 4 players where you go out to beat zombie type monsters; Battle Royale is another gameplay that can have up to 100 players and the battle goes until there is the last person standing, and then there is Fortnite Creative that lets players create worlds and battles on their own.
All of these Fortnite gameplays have been a great success for Epic Games but the Fortnite Battle Royale has had the most success.
It has brought in more than 125 million players in under one year and is earning hundreds of millions per month.
